Cyrille Payumo captured the award for Best in National Costume at Miss Charm 2025.
Her outfit drew inspiration from the salakot, the traditional Philippine headgear worn by many ethnic communities to shield against sun and rain. Cyrille’s national costume was a full gold ensemble featuring a corset, knee-high boots, and an ornate headpiece, creating a striking and cohesive look from head to toe.
On Instagram, Cyrille explained that her appearance was shaped by the hardworking spirit of Filipino farmers, forged by sun, rain, and resilience. She added that each grain, each golden detail, and every layer of the design carries the country’s roots and history.
In her message, she said that the moment honored the hands that tilled the land, every harvest that fed the nation, and every Filipino who continues to rise.
Cyrille later bowed out of the Miss Charm competition, placing in the Top 20. She had previously made headlines for a high-energy swimsuits segment, wearing a two-piece swimsuit with shimmering embellishments.
Cyrille Payumo was crowned Miss Charm Philippines in 2024. In the same pageant era, Venezuela’s Anna Blanco was announced as Miss Charm 2025.
