The truck also had improper registration. The driver had a revoked Missouri license, and a revoked Illinois license. John Linden Debates, of Smithton, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Debates was released on scene with a court summons.

A report was created documenting an attempted scam. Alexandro Parra stated the attempt happened on Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of South Montgomery Avenue. Parra was not out any money and blocked the subjects in question.

Monday evening, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 16th Street and South Limit Avenue because it had expired registration. The driver was identified, and found to have a Pettis County warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued at the beginning of August 2024, after an incident in July regarding a violation of an ex-parte. In that incident, the reporting party stated her husband had agreed for him to pick up and drop off their children at her residence. Earlier that evening, the suspect showed up at the residence to drop off one of the children. Upon arrival, someone attempted to give the suspect a bag with some family pictures. He then became angry and started allegedly verbally abusing her. He got into his vehicle, backed out of the driveway, and then pulled back in. He opened his vehicle door, striking the victim in the right arm. She provided a picture showing an obvious red mark on her arm. She then started receiving text messages from him such as “you better get in there and cook that frozen chicken patties beans that’s all our kids know how to eat because their mothers never been able to cook them a decent f***ing meal” and “got a problem. Must know if anything happens with the pictures of my folks. There will be naked pictures of you all over the f***ing planet”. As a result of the incident, Officers requested charges. Tucker Caleb Leonard, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested for his arrant on charges of felony Harassment in the 1st Degree, Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree, and two counts of Violation of an Order of Protection. Tucker was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
